Re: Entourage - "Runnin' On E" - 8/02/09
Good episode. Felt kind of low key, like the whole thing was a deleted scene, but a nice break from all the high stakes "Is Vince gonna get the movie or not?" episodes of past years.
[On a side note, it cracks me up how often the guys go to the Urth Cafe in West Hollywood. I also go there a lot and can assure you I've never seen a hot blonde waitress there. They only seem to employ young gay latinos. The coffee is outstanding.]

I enjoyed it. Nothing special. Just a run of the mill good episode. Now that we're 4 episodes in, I'm wondering if there will be an overall story arch for the season for Vince or if he'll just fall in as a background character this season.
I like the direction they've taken with E. Now that Vince is on top, if I were E, I wouldn't even try to start up my own business and get a ton of clients. Too much of a headache. I'd be very happy working only with my best friend and taking 10% now that he's decided to consistently work and pull in $10 million a movie.

After five full seasons I was hoping that they'd start setting up the end of the show with some of these guys becoming very successful. Drama was finally on a hit tv show, E had started his business and actually had a client, Turtle was banging Meadow Soprano... For me this show is one step forward and twelve steps back.

Definitely the best episode of a lame season so far. They finally gave Drama a good side story as his actions are always great to every situation. Drama to Ed Burns, "Why don't we get Natalie Portman for my love interest?"
Ari of course steals every episode when he was in bed with his wife, "Honey, my cock never gets bored of you!"
Where is Vince this year????? Although it was funny when he talked about Facebook, "E, I have 59 Friend Requests!"

enjoyed this episode. actually liked the E scenes this week. Was funny him not having anything to do in his office, i wish my work was like that !
Liking E and Ashley and the potential triangle with Sloan. I'd take Ashley over Sloane anyday (keeping Sloane on the side for pure banging purposes of course )
Drama hasn't had a decent story arc for a long time, he's become stale
Turtle and Jaime Lynn works because everyone knows they are a real life couple

I think the first ep. of this season was laying the groundwork for the end of the series. It showed each member of the gang doing their own thing while Vince sits at home alone (with great use of the song "Lucky Man" ).
While she makes good eye candy, it seems like Jamie-Lynn Sigler is becoming a more major character on the show. I'm all for turtle having a hot woman, but she always seems to be with the guys when each episode ends now.
