once the prices go into affect, could somebody confirm to me in what type of packaging the set comes. thanks in avdance!

Death Race will be a sweet pick up for 8.99, and the new Modest Mouse E.P. shall quench my thirst as well
EDIT: Assjack's first official release? I feel it time for a celebration

If you look in Best Buys weekly ad section, they have an August Movies guide. At the bottom of page 10 there's an ad that says Check out our SUMMER SIZZLER OFFERS.
August 9 - 15
Blu-Rays starting at 9.99
August 2 - 8
Standard DVD editions starting at 3.99
There's no specific films listed, but as soon as they list them I will update this thread, or I'm sure they will be in next weeks ad. Was going to start a new thread, but since there were no specific films listed and this thread already shows the 3.99 DVDs there was no need to.

I went to my local Best Buy today after seeing the ad and bought both Hellboy and Batman: The Movie (The campy West version) for 3.99 as well as The Incredible Hulk for 8.99.

Local Best Buy here had only the 1-disc Eagle Eye for 8.99, so ymmv on that one. You could probably price match it though. There are a lot of titles though not shown in the ad for $3.99, like Shrek 3, Bee Movie, some bond flicks, 21 grams and a few Arnold Films.

Best Buy have most of the Weinstein Blu-rays on sale for $14.99 at the moment. Not listed anywhere in-store, but it's available on the website and the register in store will show the discounted price.
Just picked up Death Proof and Planet Terror. May go back before the week is over to maybe pick up The Mist, but my local Best Buy only had one of each left.

The Mist is amazing on Blu-Ray. That's probably the newest "black and white" title available (chronologically), and it looks stunning. That's how the movie should be seen.
