Next Criterion Purchase Suggestions

Ok, since Barnes and Noble started their 50% off sale, I've gone nuts over there. Here is a list of things that I have gotten recently:
Seven Samurai
Ran
Hidden Fortress
Throne of Blood
Yojimbo
Sanjuro
Kagemusha
Inagaki's Samurai Trilogy
Harlan County U.S.A.
House of Games
Brazil
Last Emperor
Seventh Seal
The Spy Who Came In From The Cold

Based off of these titles, what would you guys suggest for my next raiding party?

All that Kurosawa, but not "High and Low"? Is it only the samurai stuff that you like?

If so, then go grab yourself "Sword of Doom" and "Harakiri", two vastly different but wildly successful flicks. The first is as dark and violent as any chambara you've ever seen, plunging you into a world of violence filled with stunning swordfights and endless mayhem from the start all the way to the celebrated freeze-frame at at the end. The second is a tense, smart critique of Japan's feudal system (preserved for the warlords by the samurai) revealing the pointless hypocrisy that the bushido code had become by this point in history.

If you like films set in Japan's feudal period, you might want to branch out from the samurai/chambara stuff. I love the ghost stories, particularly "Ugetsu" and "Onibaba". But don't get "Kwaidan" yet; this disc will be upgraded and hopefully with the complete cut soon.

I really dig the samurai and period pieces. High and Low is supremely appealing to me, because I love the Ed McBain source material, plus Toshiro is a madman and I love him. Haven't heard of the other titles you mentioned, but I will look into them and see what they have to offer. Thanks!
