Im looking at getting new main speakers for my Home Theater. Im looking at the Mini Monitors, but also the Titans as well. Ive heard nothing bad about either of them...but do the Titans make a good Main Speaker for a HT, or are they more music-based? Please help..

The Titans are lower in the line, but both
are good speakers. It really depends on
your budget.

I think the Mini-monitors are worth the
extra cash, and personally, if I had only
enough to but the Titans today, I would save
for a few more weeks and get the Mini-monitors.

Good luck

I got the Mini for Main as it better than titan for my cousin and the Titan for rear of my systems. For main speaker my best advice would be getting the same brand as your center speaker so you get a combination.I also use Paradigm PS-1000 as my sub...which is very good.

The Mini Monitor is a MUCH better speaker. Also, the CC-350 is far better than the cheaper CC-170. Save up and go for the Monitor series. Good luck!

I concur. The mini-monitors are a much better speaker. Keep in mind though you're going to HAVE to buy stands for them, nice ones, something strong and sturdy. The Titans are also great speakers, but better suited as rears of budget systems.

I use the Mini-Moniters as my surrounds, but I agree that they'd also make nice main speakers. They're definitely superior to the Titans, which aren't bad themselves. If you go with the Mini-Moniters, you'll probably want the CC-350 center channel instead of the 170 because the CC-170 really can't keep up with the MMs. I've also heard that using a third Mini-Moniter as your center channel if you're using MMs as your mains is a good option, but in my opinion, it wouldn't look right sitting on top of your TV, although it would be a perfectly matched sound. Check out audioreview.com for TONS of reviews on Paradigm speakers.
