A great and very underrated band. Even with numerous lineup changes they still put out great albums.

Re: Metal Church RIP 1985-2009

Gotta be honest haven't really kept up with these guys over the last 20 years but man those first three albums are fucking amazing, David Wayne (R.I.P.) was such a great metal vocalist, wasn't a happy camper back in the day when i heard David was leaving the band but what a great replacement Mike Howe turned out to be on "Blessing In Disguise", these guy's cuz of those first 3 album's get more play on my iPod than Metallica and many other more popular metal bands, couple of my faves one with David Wayne and one with Mike Howe.

"Start The Fire" from "The Dark" with "David Wayne"

"The Spell Can't Be Broken" from "Blessing In Disguise" with "Mike Howe"

I'll always remember their collaboration with Sir-Mix-A-Lot.

For my money Blessing In Disguise was the only really great record. Didn't like the first singer, and there was stuff I liked on The Human Factor but it was not as good as tits predecessor.

It would be nice to get a remastered version of BiD because it sounds like ass IMO.

That first album is so classic. Well, this sucks. I now regret missing the show they recorded for a dvd a couple of years ago.

Re: Metal Church RIP 1985-2009

"This Present Wasteland", the latest album from METAL CHURCH, sold 920 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
I can't even imagine how disheartening that must be to a band.

The 3 albums with Ronnie Monroe as as good as any metal album out there... and they still put on a great live show.
