now that i think about it, half of these movies would be great as seen under the influence of something.

also for these revivals, AFI mostly uses prints right? And a at the fact that they are playing both Breakin movies

I'm down for at least Robocop.

I love this festival, 2 years ago they had Evil Dead 2 and it was amazing.

robocop would be fun to see on the big screen (although it would prob be the R rated version). i noticed that they mentioned that the print of Ghostbusters is a brand new print.

A great lineup there -- I'd enjoy watching three of the lesser (comparatively speaking) movies on the bigscreen:

Gleaming the Cube
Body Double
Lucas

Re: Totally Awesome 3: More Films of the '80's (AFI Silver theatre showcase)

for those of us seeing Pink Floyd's the Wall tomorow night (i think me and prob. giles)
*Audience Giveaways!

July 17, 11:30pm late show: Win one of five pairs of tickets to see Pink Floyd tribute band The Machine, playing at The State Theatre on July 18.

it would be really neat if most of the audience sang along for the entire movie
