Actually it depends on what you're buying. For orders of multiple, higher priced items the 25% off is a better deal than 20% + free shipping. Someone (Cheato?) has posted a breakdown of the math before but I can't find it right now.

For the cheap DVDs that are only a few bucks each you're absolutely correct though.

Well, i was talking from an international customer's point of view.

Considering i have to buy a single item, the point where 25%off + paid shipping becomes better than 20% off with free shipping is if i buy a single item worth more than $130. Here is the math:

Need to find a price first where the cost involved in both cases is same :

i.e. 25% off + Int'l Shipping cost for 1st item = 20% off with free shipping

.75x (For 25% off) + 6.5 (Int'l Shipping cost in $ for 1st item )=.8x (20% off with free shipping)
.8x-.75x=6.5
.05x=6.5
x=130

At $130, both the offers are equally good. If the item is priced beyond $130, 25% off + paid shipping becomes a better deal.

I almost pulled the trigger on a couple of used Blus, but by the time they threw in tax and shipping, it wasn't any cheaper than The Sale of Which We Do Not Speak-- and those would be new.

Forgot you were overseas. In that situation you're absolutely correct. I was looking at it from a US perspective.
