I currently own two DVD players. One is an Apex AD-600a ( with menus) & the other is a Toshiba SD 1200. I have a Toshiba TZ50V61 50" TV with component inputs and S-video inputs as well. How would I connect both players to the TV at the same time? Thanks

If the t.v. has seperate inputs (i.e. source 1 and separate source 2) then just plug one dvd player into each input and use the t.v. to switch between them.

If the t.v. doesn't have separate inputs, then you could buy an a/v swith box that would allow you to select which one you want. Your local radio shack should have this device.

Unless I don't understand your question, just plug one player into the component input and the other into the s-video (or put both into S-Video inputs -- I can't remember whether either or both the players have component output).

I also assume that you don't want to watch both players at the same time. You will not be able to use the set's picture-in-picture function with the component input. Rather if you want this function you'll have to use either s-video or component inputs.

Maybe I don't understand the question, but this seems to be just a simple matter of pluging each player into the set. If this is a matter of not having any inputs then you'll need to get some type of switching device. If that is what your interested in then please ask for more specific advice.

If you want to use the component outputs of both of your dvd players, you can get a receiver or pre-amp that allows you to do component switching. These are somewhat rare and kind of expensive, tho.

I have the Denon AV-R 3300, which does component video switching. It's not terribly expensive. I think the lowest price reported for it online was under $800 shipped.
