Vacation - Easy pick.
Caddyshack - Love both but Caddyshack is legendary.
Office Space - I like BTTF as a movie more, but I can't vote it over Office Space in a comedy tournament.
Christmas Vacation - Easy pick.
Airplane - Like both but have to go with Airplane.
Python - Sorry Dr. Strangelove, you are great and all but Python is funnier.
Ghostbusters - Blazing Saddles doesn't do much for me anymore.
Groundhog Day - Easy.
Caddyshack - Love both but Caddyshack is legendary.
Office Space - I like BTTF as a movie more, but I can't vote it over Office Space in a comedy tournament.
Christmas Vacation - Easy pick.

Well as far as Weird Science goes it wasn't on 2 top 10 lists, so it wasn't included. BTTF was on quite a few top 10 lists and since then has won each of its' matchups.

I only abstained in one match (out of indifference). To think, this is the Final 16...and I don't really care about any of these movies. Then, for whatever reason, I prefer my TV series to be funny and my movies to be serious.
I also wish Back to the Future had been vetted out of the tournament, but it is what it is.

I stared at these two for 5 minutes before I voted. Either one would beat all the others on here. I voted for Monty Python as I saw Doctor Strangelove when I was about 12 the first time and I thought it was more serious than funny. Holy Grail had me laughing the whole time and it has a perfect ending. Damn, now that I think about it, so does DS. And now that cracks me up from start to finish. I should have abstained.
