I just opened todays paper and looked through the Fry's ad and saw the Star Trek: Motion Picture Collection Blu-ray (6 disc) listed at $59.99. I know that there is a thread on a mis-price by BB at $69.99 and Amazon is at $79.99.

I can't post the attachment, but could email it if someone wished to do so. The ad is listed as Fry's 24th Anniversary Sale.

Thanks. I was wondering why so many were getting so excited about earlier "misprices" and "sales". This will get down to $49.99 in a month or so.

The set currently has a $139.99 MSRP....I seriously doubt it will be only $49.99 in a month....MAYBE by years end, but Blu-ray prices do not fall nearly as quickly as DVD....

Yeah, I wouldn't bet on $49.99 either. But then, I guess that is only ten more dollars.....

Just got back from Fry's, they just had a few sets left. They had a lot more trilogies, but I would imagine those will be gone come midday. At $59.99, I decided to since I doubt even Amazon won't have a sale this good. I would think future sales will have this for around $60+. The regular Fry's tag has the set for $109.99.

I also picked up LA Confidential for $9.99.

Today I picked up something better than the motion picture collection. A raincheck for the motion picture collection (fry's). Gives me more time to decide....

Same here. My girlfriend and I went to one on Saturday, which was sold out of both the Blu-Ray sets.
