Pass. Already have 2001 and FMJ on HD DVD, Shining on DVD, Clockwork on BD, and hate EWS, which achieved the seemingly impossible feat of making a nude Nicole Kidman and crazy mansion orgies boring.

To be honest, this should be the regular price for this set. Amazon has had this at about $72 for a while and it's way overpriced. Yes, it's Kubrick, but these films have been released several times in different variations over the years. This "drop" to $36 finally puts it at a more reasonable price. It'd be more of a deal if the price was something like $20-$25. Right now, I can get a brand new set on eBay for about $28 shipped from a few different sellers. But even the usual going rate for this set is only around $50. And while those third-party sellers on Amazon did have copies for under $15 at one point, several people received damaged sets so there was some risk involved. All these recent price drops and sales on this set make me think they're gearing up for yet another series of Kubrick DVDs or another box set. Possibly one that includes Lolita and Barry Lyndon?

Good price. Have 3 out of the 5 titles. Probably would have ordered it if it included Barry Lyndon and Lolita, and just sold the doubles

three years ago this deal would hve been 10 pages and over a hundred posts long,my how the price of dvd has fallen

Or it could have to do with the fact that many people already got in on this deal a month and a half ago. It was on sale for the same price through Oldies.com, which led to someone finding several brand new copies for sale through Amazon sellers for $10. I picked this set up during that time for $13 shipped.
