Hi,

I've been gawking at the many home theaters listed at avscience.com. Someday, I'm planning on putting one of these together myself. However, I have little idea of the advantages and disadvantages of CRT/LCD projectors, screen styles, line doublers/progressive scan/HTPC, etc. In fact, I don't know how a lot of this stuff works...especially don't understand what stuff is needed to work together.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can offer me a good source of reading material (as I can't follow the technicality of the avscience boards for sure) to learn about all of these different styles and techniques for setting up a great front projection home theater?

Also, if you know of any deals on projectors...let me know!
