Funny, I just sold my JVC 1000W 5.1 HiTB for $50. 
Possibly ANY HiTB at $50 is probably good. I liked mine. It just can't do lossless and 5.1 uncompressed PCM because it has no HDMI inputs.

I can guarantee you it isn't really anywhere near 1,000 watts. I'd be surprised if it was capable of 100 watts. But for $50, you won't be out much.
