I'd say Not Available is far more accurate than available. That being said, I've had plenty of trips where the website has been wrong on both sides.

For the most part, it has been accurate for me. I don't fully trust it however. But if it says available, that means there should be more than two copies of whatever it is, in stock.

Re: Are the Best Buy Availibility at stores accurate?
I have gone in several times even though it says Unavailable and it really is. Once in awhile I have even "checked" them and when I got back from a store, maybe what I purchased, maybe what I looked at that I was interested in, and checked if it said "Available" or Unavailable." From what I saw, it said "Unavailable" even when they had it, and a few of them. So if it is something I really want and they are one closest I will check anyway.

I have had experience where it said unavailable and they had way more than 2 in the store... sometimes 20 or more in the store.. Not sure what they use for the inventory that is presented on bestbuy.com.. I have also had experience where it says available and placed an order for in store pickup and then gotten a message back that it is not available.. and then got free shipping.. I remember one time I got the unavail after order and then accepted the free shipping and went in that same day to see about 100 copies of what was unavail... the avail to unavail after ordering w/ instore pickup is often just an employee that cannot find the item..
