Summer '09 Movie Season
With the summer movie season almost upon us, what are the films you're most looking forward to seeing? Least looking forward to seeing? Any other snarky comments?

I'm predicting higher box office than last summer simply because "Kids, kids, no money for Disneyland this year, how bout a trip down to the theater?"

Re: Summer '09 Movie Season
There isn't a whole lot that I'm REALLY psyched for this summer, but there are plenty of titles I do want to see.
Terminator 4 (just because I can't believe a guy named McG will pull it off)
Transformers 2 (it looks like a lot of fun)
Star Trek (prob. the coolest looking flick of the season)
Inglorious Basterds (it's Tarantino. I'm obligated as a fan)
Funny People (I love Apatow's films, but I expect it to be bloated like the rest)
Drag me to Hell (Raimi doing low-budget horror? where do I sign?)
Public Enemies (looks great, but I'm not sold on the cameras Mann is using for this one)
Bruno (because I know it'll be hilarious)
HP 6 (I don't always see HP flicks in theaters, so this is a toss-up)
Wolverine (I might see it, but the workprint was so damn bad I know I'll be wasting $)

Re: Summer '09 Movie Season
Most excited for Star Trek.
Looking forward to Terminator Salvation-- I hope McG is able to pull it off-- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and 2012.
Reviews are going to have to be amazing-- in relation to the first movie-- if I'm going to pay to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I like the trailers, but I also liked the ones two years ago. And that experience was a bore. Will probably wait for the DVD.
