More update about Toshiba6109C for those who bought it from Mobshop.com

I bought a toshiba6109C a couple of months ago from mobshop(then Accompany). It has a lot of the well documented defects(including no subwoofer output and autoshut off at high volume). Well..i called up mobshop CSR today and the product manager told me that the 6109C is no longer being produced and for my RMA, i will be receiving an UPGRADE model of the 6109C.
does anyone know what model that is?? i hope she's not BSing me!!

The 6109C has a subwoofer output (as do all other Dolby Digital receivers -- it is the .1 in 5.1). The following is the description of the 6109C's features from Toshiba's website -- http://www.toshiba.com/tacp/dvd/SD6109C.html:

sorry for the confusion...6109C does have SUBWOOFER output.
It's just mine DOES NOT WORK!
THey are sending me an RMA and the CSR told me since they no longer make 6109C(b/c it sucks), they are gonna give me an upgraded model.
MY question is, does anyone know which model are they talking about? The CSR said the features will be equivalent if not better than the 6109C. Is there a model out there like that right now? I hope thye are not trying to rip me off by sending me the 2200 series

dsharky, you've already tried setting it up? like the speaker set ups and stuff.. turning on the subwoofer, switching all others to small and stuff like that? hmm.. wonder why they don't just send you another... mobshop seems to still be selling the 6109c. oh well.

I've checked on Toshiba's DVD page and don't see any newer device equivalent to the SD6109C. In fact, Toshiba still has the SD6109C (and SD5109) listed along with all of their year 2000 models like the SD1200 and SD2200. Maybe you'll get lucky, and they'll upgrade it to the progressive scan SD6200. Not exactly equivalent, but still very nice.
