I know that many peope have had problems with these players and if your one year warranty has run out which mine has you are responsible for all repair costs. My question is this, after the repair does the player have any other problems, are the repairs guaranteed, and is it worth $90 - $160. I loved my Panny until this point and I wouldn't mind getting it fixed but I don't want to pay almost for a new player and have it still breakdown on me. any help would be appreciated.

I've had the usual 110 problems.
I had it fixed under an extended warranty from SEARS and since then it has worked fine.
BUT,
I did have some chapter skips on MATRIX and PRINCE OF EGYPT AFTER repairs.
I don't know if this was a problem with the disc or the player....
So I say fix it IF the repairs are guaranteed ...
