Looked around and didn't see this posted anywhere. I recenetly got an X-Box 360 and started looking around for some games on the cheap. And I came across http://www.playswitch.com.
Basically, the site was made by a group of guys that got tired of selling their games to Gamestop(or similar stores) for pocket change, only to see the store turn around and try to sell it for a sizeable increase. (The example given in an interview was they sold three x-box 360 games and all they were going to offer him was $0.75 cents total, and the same games were on their shelves for 10-12 each)
So, this site allows sellers to post their games and what they are willing to sell the title for. It also allows buyers to post games they want and how much they are willing to buy the game for. When the two sides pricing meet on the same game, both sides end up happier. The seller gets to sell the game for higher than they could get at gamestop, and the buyer can buy the game for less than they could at gamestop.
Best part about, the games are guaranteed through the site. If the game isn't complete, or doesnt work, the site itself gives compensation.
How can this site afford to do this and opperate? They charge $1 per transaction. I was kinda put off by this at first, but even with the extra $1 charge... i am still able to get games cheaper than I could at gamestop.
