[APRIL FOOLS] 9 1/2 hour cut of GREED in works for BR 2010?
Saw this over at DVDBeaver.com:
WHAT'S NEXT?
In the past 2 months one of our luckiest 'Beavers' were part of the team who are helping to restore the 'film find of the century' - the original, full, 9 1/2 hour cut of Greed (1924) found in Erich von Stroheim's niece Helga's garage attic stored there, unbeknownst to her, for over 60 years! This will be DVDBeaver's Signature Series spine #1 on Blu-ray - but restoration completion and rendering to high-definition isn't expected till approximately August of 2010.

Um - April Fools.....I doubt DVD BEaver is going to start up a Blu Ray line of movies....
http://www.dvdbeaver.com/
DVDBeaver will immediately be shifting focus from a digital review website to a company producing vintage films (almost exclusively from the Public Domain) into high-definition Blu-ray disc. Initially they will be made available for consumer purchase only through this website. This has taken well over 2-years for our first few titles but things are moving along rapidly now and we expect to have produced a full line, competed and ready to ship, by the end of 2009. Each title will be offered for sale at less than $25 US.
We have sourced the best possible material, done a minor cleaning of dust and speckles, and transferred to digital in 1920×1080 progressive resolution using the MPEG-4 encode. Our discs will include extensive extras (as listed below) and the first package will be available at the end of May 2009. We'd like to thank all who have contributed to DVDBeaver's past goals and hope you will join us in supporting this exciting new venture.

I was about to call out the asshole above me for padding his post count with 3 in a row, then I realized it's 3 different people.
I also hate today. It should be mandatory that after an hour things go back to normal.

For a split second, I got really, really excited, and then it dawned on me what day it was. I agree with The Bus, I hate the Internet today.
