Movie & video guide on CDRom?
I'm a movie buff (as most of us probably are) and occasionally use Leonard Maltin's Movie & Video Guide for information on titles.
Since the last issue I have purchased is 2004, I had rather find a newer edition (or something simular and just as good) on a CDRom to use on my PC.
Any ideas or suggestions?
BTW, I did do a search for his guide on software but found nothing except for a portable.

There used to be Cinemania, a CD-ROM with reviews and filmographies. That was before the internet. It stopped publishing when things like the IMDB took off.
Honestly, Maltin's guide is easier to use than any CD-ROM would be. Rather than getting the CD, loading it up, searching through it, etc, you just flip through it to find the info.
I've got a copy right next to my computer and use several times a day.
And CRITERION GOES TO THE MOVIES was a lot of fun.

Maybe they should do like Readers Digest and do a large print version.
That would be easier on my eyes plus not have to hold the spine open to the page(s)
I want.

Ah... the good old times
But yeah. I think a book is a better choice compared to a CD. These days you can just go to imdb or rottentomatoes or a bunch of other sites that offers more up to date and comprehensive content.

Yeah, I enjoy using VideoHound when it comes to looking it up in book format, although my current one is like 2 years old. I don't suppose they have a website...
