The Shield Season 2 DVD Authoring Issue?
It's just weird. I have my Samsung LCD set to 'Just Scan' for the picture size. This pretty much selects the proper viewing method for whatever material is fed into the TV. 4:3 material is always presented in 4:3, and widescreen movies always appear in their correct aspect ratio.
However, the third disc of my Shield Season 2 set I noticed tonight, the episodes (or at least the first two I know, for sure) which are normally 4:3 are stretched to be widescreen. The first two discs upon rechecking them do not do this, however this disc does. So I don't think it's a problem with my setup at all by any means. I was able to select 4:3 on my TV and all was well, but I had to set it back to 'Just Scan' for the future.
I'm just wondering if anyone else ever experienced something like this? I just want to make sure I'm not crazy.
