i have a pioneer 515, one of the problems is that when i put in a dvd movie or music the player goes to the title such as an F.B.I warning and i can't skip this.

I think some DVDs are programmed this way and you can't skip (esp. Disney!). Just try the forward button or menu button on your remote. If these don't work, I believe you have to just wait.

Press stop on the remote and then menu, this should bring up a list of setup, title, and menu. select title. if you select menu, you will start over.

btw, if the stop button is programmed out, press stop on the player.
