but, i am not sure why you would consider "Kill Bill" as a whole when really they are 2 vastly different movies right now. i mean i love both for very different reasons, but given a choice i would probably go with vol. 1 right now.

I did that because all the votes I got for it were as a whole. Not sure why maybe I should have followed up on that, but I never got arround t it.

Considering the poll is favorite movie, I don't see a problem with it.

I voted for LOTR and Kill Bill. Didn't vote on the others since I haven't seen them all.

The poll is for your favorite as the OP stated when he started the poll, not the best film. I would pick to watch The Goonies over 2001 nine times out of ten.

What happened? No FAIL, as you post in every other poll.

Did you not read the OP's treatise on this?

I'll gladly acknowledge 2001 as the better film, but I have no desire to watch it again anytime soon.

Reservoir Dogs vs Kill Bill is a war that QT would be proud of.

Re: "Favorite" Movie Tournament Round #1/Group #1 Poll

1: LOTR (Not into horror movies too much)
2: 2001 (Goonies is enjoyable but was a bit dated last time I saw it)
3: The Big Lebowski (One of my favorites)
4: Kill Bill (I realize it's blasphemy to some and I love Tarantino movies, but Resevoir Dogs doesn't have the allure to me that it has for others)

2001 is one of the most boring films I've ever seen.
I can't believe the praise it gets, I consider it very over-rated.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is closing the gap nicely. I thought that was gonna be a blowout, but there is still a chance.

Kill Bill both volumes? This was 2 movies... 2 different release dates... 2 movies. Why not LOTR: The Complete Trilogy?

Because in every instance of Kill Bill being voted for it was just Kill Bill, not Kill Bill Vol 1 or Kill Bill Vol 2. I should've followed up with the voters to see which they wanted, but I never did. I never had the same issue with any other movie series.
