I was wondering if there was a case like that - I think they usually try to find unusual real-life cases for inspiration.

I highly doubt they'll kill off Christian. Unless Richard Burgi is coming in for good, which judging by next week's promo could be a good thing, I can't see them getting rid of the life of the show. Also, Teddy is a really annoying chick, and she has weird small teeth. Weak episode overall.

Very meh episode.
Any episode of a show that features some sort of spirit walk/Native American shaman hallucination automatically sucks. It's a rule.

i hope Richard Burgi is not coming in for anything. i really dislike him in everything he does and loved when he took it in the head in F13. next week's ep looks off putting to me with him in it.

Doubt you'll see him in this thread again.
I thought it was an alright episode. Can't stand Teddy. It would be great if they ended the show with Christian's funeral. Chances are he'll get some "miracle" cancer drug or surgery and be fine.

Come on, Christian lives. Remember the future episode, where he is old, and mentions being married once, and it wasn't for him. Sure it was a dream thing, but still

So...this is the 5th season. According to EW there will be a 6th and 7th season. That makes for an awfully long death spiral of Christian for viewers to watch.
