I would have normally put this in the walmart thread, but it seemed like such a good find I felt it worthy of its own thread. VCI is a label of obscure oldies releases and found some tonight in the $5 bin. What I thought was the best deal and I picked one up was the 1st box set of thier "forgotten noir" series. it is a 3 disk set of double features (6 films total in the package) of 1950s obscure noir films. if it is as good as I think it will be, I will surely be looking for the other volumes if they show up (there are 4 3disc sets in the series). I also saw some VCI sets of complete serials, but none really popped out as interesting to me and I cant really recall the titles I saw.

Nice find.Looks like it goes for $20+ online.
Next time I'm in Walmart I'll look for some old VCI DVd's.
I'll post latter on if I find ant VCI sets.

I own all the VCI "Forgotton Noir" boxes and while they really can't be called classic "Noir", they're entertaining little films from Lippert Pictures. For sure worth $5.

went back and picked up one of the serials. a 13 parter called "jungle queen" saw 2 others that I passed on, one called sos coast guard, and another of buffallo bill. anymore sighting of vci titles or was I the only one?
