Though unannounced, a Blu-ray could be possible. Would you guys be interested?

Of course I'd be interested. I loved this movie. I never actually got it on DVD but my VHS copy is hanging around somewhere. I'm waiting for the inevitable Blu-ray release now.
I just can't believe I was wondering about this film hitting BD a few days ago only for a DVD announcement to be made with no Blu-ray release mentioned. Talk about disappointing.

Great flick, but IIRC, an "Insider" over at Blu-ray.com said /Paramount/Dreamworks has no plans for a Blu-ray release. With a glut of Star Trek films coming out the same day on Blu-ray I can kinda understand why...but why not just release the BD 2 weeks early?

I would definately get this on BD at some point. Always thought this was a great send-up of Star Trek

I'd love a BD of this. It's a fun movie.
I wonder if they'd actually use the shifting aspect ratios like when it was released in theaters. For those who don't remember, in theatres the film was pillar box at 1.33:1 for the TV episode opening, then it opened up to 1.85:1 during all the sequences on earth, and then it opened up to 2.35:1 when Tim Allen first goes into space.
For the DVD they matted all the 1.85:1 footage so the film goes from 1.33:1 straight to 2.35:1.

In for a Blu-Ray release of this if and when it comes but I'm not buying another version on dvd. Hopefully they will learn that some of us have gotten smarter in our dvd/Blu-Ray buying days.

I could have sworn I remember hearing Gwen DeMarco (Sigourney Weaver) exclaiming 'fuck that' when she and Jason (Tim Allen) stumble accross the large dicing contraption when they are trying to escape the alien spaceship.

I think that was referred to in one of the extras. In any case, she clearly uses the f-word even though the dialogue is "screw"
