(Now DEAD) John Adams - HBO Mini Series $14.99 @ Target (reg. 49.99)
Out of lurkdom and back from a lunchtime trip over to the bullseye, to share this hot deal:
John Adams - HBO Three Disc mini series (7+ hours long),
Now on Temporary Price Cut (2/10 through 4/6)
Reg. $49.99 / now $14.99
located down the TV series aisle of DVDs
(Update: LOOKS DEAD as of 2/15-- Target changed the price in their system to $39.99 and stores began putting up replacement Price Cut signing, with the new pricing. Same w/Band of Brothers.)

Wow. Great find. I think the BD is being released this Summer, but definitely not for $14.99. I may have to head over to the big T after work.

Nice find jayce. I picked one up on my way home after reading your message. I missed the mini-series when it aired, but found it on demand. I watched part 1 and when I went to watch part 2 it was gone from on demand. Must have been when the dvd was released.

I watched it on HBO, and it was excellent. I can easily recommend it for 'blind-buyers.' It's picked up several awards over the past few months, too!

In for one as well for John Adams. I've been waiting for a while for the price to drop on this one. Our Target had this round blinking theft prevention device tied to every collection. I had to laugh, for $14.99 thats a lot of hardware being used to protect a DVD collection.

Picked up the last one at my Target a few mins ago. I have never seen it and may hold onto it for a few days before deciding to keep it or not. Hear great things about it but have no idea if it will be to my liking. Need to see if there are any clips or trailers online for it so i can get a feel.

Wow, that is insanely cheap, especially when you consider that it's a relatively new HBO title. They must want to get rid of them bad, because that's over 60% less then what the sale price for this is at Best Buy this week, and 75% off the list price. And the fact that it's going to be priced so low for nearly two months is pretty amazing as well (which I'm happy about because I won't have the extra cash to pick this up for another week or two).
Also, I wait like 6 six years to finally pull the trigger on Band of Brothers because Target sells it for the lowest I've ever seen at $30, and a little over a month later they drop it down even lower to $20.
Oh well
I wonder if these types of low prices have to do with Blu-Ray increasingly taking over the market, or just our crappy economy?
