Zodiac (No I'm kidding it's just funny they had a trailer for the two-disc on the barebones one-disc release).

weather or not you personally like the movie is your taste, but i certainly don`t see a "shock" or great surprise, that a major release like that one is getting 2 discs.
although i must admit the weak making of featurettes could certainly have fit on one disc
anyhow, nowadays a lot of movies are receiving a two disc treatment, due
to those pretty useless digital copies.
as i love slipsleeves, i don`t mind though, because many movies that would normally have received a basic one disc slipsleeveless amaray are now getting sleeves.
i am more shocked, that such great movies, like last boyscout and many others, DON`T get a 2disc special edition

The first time I heard of comedies getting 2-disc releases, it took a while to wrap my head around that. I've since gotten over it entirely, to the point I honestly can't answer this thread. On the other hand, I probably could participate in a thread about movies I'm surprised have not had a 2-disc special edition release.

I looked quickly and thought this was an announcement for a 2-disc set of the AMC "Movies That Shocked The World" series.
But alas. Looks like that will probably forever stay in the licensing graveyard.

Caligula got three discs when it didn't deserve even one. I also never thought we'd get a 2-disc edition of Savage Streets, though it looks like it will be going OOP soon with the folding of BCI. Snap it up while you can!

Definitely Get Smart - that was the remake from Hell!
The only thing that could have been worse would have been a 2-disc "Special" edition of Underdog.
