DVD Talk review of 'The Odd Couple - The Final Season'

...while i agree that the loss of a few minutes shouldn't ruin the whole series, i've really been let down by those missing moments. and paramount should be ashamed of themselves. The first time i noticed an omission, it didn't even have to do with a musical moment. In "I Gotta Be Me," I distinctly remember Oscar doing his 'role reversal' of Felix tasting wine and telling the dinner guests to 'roll it around in your mouth until it tastes like shoe polish.' What would be the reason for deleting that line? Makes me wonder how much else is missing. It's a really a travesty to hack up a classic.
