Just a heads up that Wal-Mart seems to have both the 1-disc and the 2-disc editions of the new animated "Hulk Vs." DVD for $14.96. The 2-disc also comes with a mini reprint of "The Incredible Hulk #181" inside the case.

Also, the 1-disc has a pretty cool lenticular slipcover (Not sure that is store exclusive, though)

Negative. I saw the 1-disc version at Target and it also include the Lenticular slip. By the way, their exclusive was a cd-rom comic

BTW, do you guys know if the Blu-ray comes with the comic repro too?

I watched Hulk Vs. Wolverine tonight. Finally one of these Marvel animated movies that's actually good! Hope no one brought thig for their kids.

Yeah, it was pretty bloody, but that's one of the good things about not having to conform to strict Saturday morning kiddie show standards, according to the comments in one of extra features. My 15 year old and I liked it.

I got the Blu-ray at Best Buy for $19.99 (it was free after the $20 credit for also buying TaxCut software) and it came with two trading cards inside as well.

Hulk vs. Thor was pretty good as well. Although these "movies" seem to be more of a promo for the new X-Men cartoon and the upcoming Thor animated movie than anything else .

Say Lecithin, could you elaborate on the Best Buy exclusive cards you found in the Blu-ray version? I asked about this in the weekly exclusives thread and I'm trying to determine just what they are. Are they actually two complete "sets" or merely two random packs? Is each pack/set different? Here's the link to the other thread, with a few of the other details, if that helps clarify things for you. Any info you could provide would be helpful, thanks!

I'm not sure what constitutes a "set" or just a "pack" but the disc contained two separate plastic pouches containing 3 cards in each pouch. One set had a card of: Hulk, Deadpool and Logan/Wolverine and the other set had: Loki, Bruce Banner (but still a picture of the HULK on it?, and Thor. The cards had color illustrations on the front and stats on the character on the back. Hope that clears things up.

Curiously, are the cards numbered? Or is there any other indication that they might be a part of some other set? And were the pouches clear or "blind?" From what you say, I'm inclined to believe these cards are unique to this promotion, but I'm just trying to make sure.

No, there was no numbering on any of them. The two sets were in clear plastic packs like a prize in a box of cereal might be.

I looked at walmart, but the 2 disc version doesn't say anything about the comic book reprint. Is it actually marked on the packaging that it includes the comic book?

At mine some were marked and some weren't.

Is the comic book inside the case, or is it bundled with the case, visible from the outside? I don't want to buy it if I'm not sure it's included.

I'm not near it, but I'm pretty sure the ones with the comic will have a separate UPC sticker over the case UPC, AND the sticker on the front indicating it has the comic inside.

I didn't open mine or look real closely, but I think the comic is inside the case. I'll try to remember to verify when I get home tomorrow, just going on memory here.

Yes, mine has a blue and white sticker on the slipcover. If I had a way I would post a pic of it.
