City of God?
Why is this not out nor has an announcement been made yet? One of the best films ever made and it would look AWESOME in hi-def! Whats the deal here Disney???????

Disney is pretty good with Blu-ray but there's no news. If necessary, City of God is worth buying a region free blu-ray player for.

It's really not the kind of thing I think they'd release soon. The Miramax catalog titles they've released so far have been the most mainstream movies.

Well, it almost took 2 years from when the film was released theatrically to the DVD release, so I would expect Disney to release this by 2014.
