From DVD Times:
Warner Home Video have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Falling Down on 26th May 2009. Michael Douglas stars in this tale of urban reality about an ordinary man at war with the everyday world. Joel Schumacher directs this thriller which also stars Robert Duvall, Barbara Hershey, Tuesday Weld and Rachel Ticotin.

The Blu-ray Book also contains over 30 pages of filmmaker and talent bios, a discussion of the film, an examination of the “bad guy,” photos, and more.

"Donuts package of six how much? .. $1.12..."Too Much"!

I bought the original release last year because i never thought Warner would release an SE of this but of course here it is now. I may double dip depending on the length of features and transfer.

Cover art kinda reminds me of Straw Dogs. Anyway I'm buying this.

The BluRay review is up at www.dvdbeaver.com . Absolutely weak looking extras for a 10th anniversary, seriously, a 10 minute conversation with Michael Douglas and thats all for a video extra??

No deleted scenes - no sale. I'll just keep my original snapper.

Re: Falling Down SE: DVD & Blu-ray --> 5/26/09

I've pre-ordered a Blu-Ray last week. Throughout the years I've been thinking of buying a snapper case dvd, but couldn't bring myself to do it. Now at least it's a better transfer with a new extra feature.
Could be better, but oh well...

You can safely say almost any cover art has ripped off some other cover art. Entertainment Weekly used to compare similar movie posters and such and as a graphic artist/illustrator myself that feature always ticked me off. Studios will use the same/similar poster design so it will remind one of another popular film in the same genre. It's good marketing and that may be the case here. Besides, no matter how hard you may try, there will almost always be something done before that is similar/same to what you just did. I always think about this when it comes to writing music and wonder if it's even possible to write an original string of notes that hasn't already been used in a song(s) before.

Oh, yeah, I also like the cover.

I have a friend who is convinced that all the original ideas hav e already been thought up, with regards to music and film. Sometimes I think he does have a point. Other tims I think he's nuts. Then a song like Viva la Vida hits the airwaves...

I love this movie but I am not sure if I would double dip on this one especially with not a lot more added to it.
