Leverage -- "The Wedding Job" -- 1/13/09
Synopsis:
Spoiler:
Since last week's thread got only 2 comments, I was debating whether or not to continue with threads for this show. Plus, chances are noone will want to talk about this Tuesday night with Idol being on. I keep doing these for shits and giggles since not everyone likes Idol and I really like this show.

My Tivo made the mistake of trying to record AI. I spent about 10 minutes hitting the thumbs down button just to make sure it knows i dont want that to ever happen again.
As to Leverage its near the top of my must see list each week. I think it is a very fun show and hope there are many episodes yet to come.

Ugh, TNT HD showed this episode in Stretch-O-Vision.
I like the show, but if they keep doing this crap I'm not going to be too keen on watching it. Hopefully it's a one episode mistake and everything will be fine next week.

Great episode with great guest stars. This one was better than last weeks (which was awesome...) because every single character had a really important part to play in the con.
Additionally, I like how each week we get to see a little more into a certain character's back story. Very cool.
I love this show, slowly becoming my favorite of the season. Hopefully TNT sticks with it and gives it a chance. Side note, Trust Me looks excellent. And i totally need to catch up on Saving Grace,

I came to it late (I missed the first 4 or 5 episodes) but I'm liking the show. I hope as it goes along the plotting and dialogue will pick up a tick, and become as least as good as the actors.

That's where I've seen the Russian mobster before. Both the wife and I instantly recognized him, but couldn't place him. Man, I can't wait for that show to start up again.
Anyone notice that Eliot's description of the woman he almost married sounded a lot like his old flame that we saw in "The Two-Horse Job"? It makes me wonder if the episodes were aired out of order.

Yes, that stretch screen is annoying. Why TNT, why?
I'm still liking the show. Anyone think there might be something starting between Hardison and Parker? They seem to be getting closer these past couple episodes...

I was wondering if it was the Two-Horse Job woman as well. If it was, it doesn't make sense for Elliott to play all vague with the dialogue since Hardison knows the woman (and according to the website the eps weren't aired out of order). Who knows.

If this ep was supposed to air earlier, the whole Nate/Sophie relationship sermon would have seemed really sudden.

If you visit thefutoncritic.com, they are pretty accurate in showing the episode production codes for all programs. According to them, everything has aired in order thus far.
As for this episode, It was another solid episode. I'm surprised to see another guest starring role for Andrew Divoff. Dan Lauria was solid as the mobster.
I have to agree that it seems like Parker and Hardison was developing a closer bond.
You can already feel the sexual tension brewing between Nate and Sophie. So, they were lovers at one point even when he was married?
The flashback scenes with the Butcher from Kiev were hilarious.

I just couldn't watch the Stretch-O-Vision version so I deleted off my DVR.
But when it re-aired on Saturday afternoon, it was in HD. So who knows what happened for the original airing. I hope it isn't going to be reoccurring problem on TNT.

On some episode, Sophie explicitly states that Nate never cheated on his wife. So Sophie and Nate were never lovers, although there apparently was always some sexual chemistry.
