DVD Talk review of 'Bandidas'
I read Svet Atanasov's DVD review of Bandidas at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=25985 and...
I largely agreed. I picked it out of the $5 bin at Walmart, and at that price point it wasn't disappointing. Once I realized that this was going to be a comic book Western, I just went along with it and it was fairly amusing, but I came away from the film wishing that Cruz and Hayek would re-unite for a serious Western. At 92 minutes, it doesn't overstay its welcome. And I concur that the commentary track was more interesting than the film. This is less another knock on the film than an outright endorsement of the commentary, though.
