"Crank" extended version?

This is the first I've heard about any extended version of this film. Is this legit? If so, how much longer is the film and is it worth a purchase?

Re: "Crank" extended version?

The extended cut runs 93 minutes so that's an additional 6 minutes....
Crank really isn't the type of film that needs more stuff added to it IMO....

This website has a run down of the changes. It's pretty pointless and looks like the theatrical version is the way to go.

I'd like to see the leg-nailing scene, but most of those changes sound pretty OCD-level irrelevant.
