Come Drink With Me: DD/SB Edition -- $9.99 Regular Price @ Best Buy

IMDB , Ian Jane's DVD Review

List Price is $19.99, while the lowest online pricetags hover around $13-$15. Not too shabby of a deal, especially if you have gift cards to use up.

Should mention that the price currently applies to Best Buy B&M, not online yet.

I'm sure the price of a lot of Dragon Dynasty pieces will start to come down now that they've been out awhile. HARD BOILED has been $9 at U.S. Wal-Marts for some time now.

Be careful of the "discounted" DD titles at Wal-Mart. I bought a copy of Fist of Legend that was a single disc version - on closer inspection, the packaging did specify that it was only a single DVD in the fine print, but it had none of the special features advertised on the wrapper sticker. I wouldn't be surprised to find this to be the case with all double-disc DD titles at Wal-Mart.

Dragons Dynasty/Shaw Brothers. Someone more into the line might have more information on the relationship of these two companies..

I picked it up earlier in Jan for $4.99 along with some other DD titles (Heroes of the East and Tai Chi Master).. I think there was some kind of post New Years sales at Bestbuy when I ordered them..

$4.99 is a good price. I wish you would have posted when you bought from that price

I've seen the single disc FIST on the Wal-Mart cheap racks, but the $9.00 HARD BOILED is indeed the 2 disc edition, at least at the stores I've been to. Don't recall there being a single disc version of that title, but I could be wrong. Frankly, a lot of the stuff in this line isn't worth more than $5-$10 considering the various little missteps that have plagued a number of titles, although its an OK series for beginners to Hong Kong cinema who, hopefully, will want to start importing if they get hooked!

Yea I got this and Heroes of the East for $4.99. And then just recently I picked up most of the rest of the titles that I didnt already own before that, 12 or so. I think I'm only missing like 3 titles. FYE had a couple in the 3 for $10 bin recently as well.
