Re: What are you listening to? (Jan 2009 Edition)
Been going through my Queensryche remasters:
EP
The Warning
Rage For Order
Operation: Mindcrime
Empire
Promised Land
I just finished watching the latest 100 VH-1 rock whatever thing with Bret Michaels and I'm feeling a little bit of a hair metal renaissance coming on. Plus winter is a good time to listen to this stuff in my car as no one can hear it from the outside.
I'm thinking some Whitesnake and Winger are up next, followed by more Opeth to reassure my masculinity.

Re: What are you listening to? (Jan 2009 Edition)
For Christmas, I got an iTunes card and indulged in Honeyhoney's debut album, First Rodeo. I'm a bit addicted. And at night, I've been playing Norah Jones's Not Too Late album because I'm in love with it. I've been playing more songs than albums lately; mostly stuff I downloaded with that aforementioned iTunes gift card. Things like Willie Nelson's "Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly (Fond of Each Other)" and Kellie Pickler's "Red High Heels." Not my usual fare, but I think I've gotten a bit burnt out of late.

Re: Giantrobo with the cool Bowie
I love that Heathen CD. Man that's one of Bowie's best.
I've been listening to the Nick Drake Box set a lot, 'Fruit Tree'. Luckily I got the one with the unreleased tracks with the better versions of 'Man In A Shed' and etc.
Man I love listening to Nick. 'Things Behind The Sun' is playing now.

Unbelievably average, heading to bad. Might be his worst studio album, for my tastes.
My least favorite album of the year, by far. I actually got angry listening to this, and I literally threw out the CD as soon as the last track ended.
One of my favorite albums ever. I had to put this one in to wash the last two away.
