Last week Best Buy had it for $174, which was the best price thus far. I passed because I can't afford that much right now.

It's a two month old, six season HBO set. You're not going to find it for ultra-cheap yet.

I'm not sure why anyone would think that an HBO series such as The Sopranos, which is 86 hours of footage for the show itself, in the amazing packaging that it comes in, and the new extras that were compiled, as well as the inclusion of the soundtrack discs that were released... would ever at least anytime soon hit $100. It's a pricey set, but if you can't think of enough reason to buy it even at $140 or $179.99 when it's on sale, then just stick with your old season sets. If you don't own any of the series yet, it's completely worth the money at such a sale price.

Re: The Sopranos DVD complete set
It's very nice, but unless you're a major fan of the series, you can stick with your old sets. I think the deleted scenes made the whole thing worth the price, but I'm sure I'm in a minority there.

At only $140, (which comes out to only $20 per season, and also nets you the sweet packaging) it was worth it to me to have a second copy and be able to lend out the regular season sets, worry-free.
