Good for Benjamin Button to beat out Bedtime Stories, even if it needed Marley and Me to do it.

I'm shocked at those Marley and Me numbers. It made nearly 60 mil this weekend.

Button was SO boring and way to long. Wish I had seen Doubt a second time since it was one of the best films of 2008.

Especially since it's in 600 less locations than both Bedtime Stories and Marley and Me ALONG with the fact most theaters have 3 screens devoted to both those films and only 1 or 2 for Benjamin Button.

This comment almost makes me dismiss your entire work as a reviewer since it's pretty plain you have no idea what you're talking about with this comment.

It's like saying the main reason Max Payne did well because a lot of retirees wanted to see the new movie with Lloyd Bridges's son.

I really don't get the attraction of Marley & Me. Looks awful. Great for Benjamin Button, though. And I would say Valkyrie did better than I expected it to. Who didn't see The Spirit failing miserably?

i don't understand the concept of high profile actors doing movies with animals, especially Aniston...didn't she see "Ed"??

I think The Spirit would've done better if...

1. Didn't have Samuel L Jackson playing Samuel L Jackson
2. Had a lead actor with a name, even if the name was something like "that guy from Lost"
3. Was rated R and had the entire female cast appear nude in various scenes

Perhaps... but I think Sin City 2 (if it ever comes out) will make bank.

"C'mere... You're taking this very personal..."

It's like saying the main reason Max Payne did well because a lot of retirees wanted to see the new movie with Lloyd Bridges's son.
I would *NEVER* say that. Max Payne didn't do well at all...

right, but The Spirit just seemed like a rip-off rather than a desired sequel.
