Box Office Weekend (Dec. 26th-28th) -- Dog takes a big bite while Spirit sinks
I'm surprised nobody created a thread for the weekly box office receipts. I did not include the box office receipts for Christmas day.

This comment almost makes me dismiss your entire work as a reviewer since it's pretty plain you have no idea what you're talking about with this comment.
It's like saying the main reason Max Payne did well because a lot of retirees wanted to see the new movie with Lloyd Bridges's son.

I really don't get the attraction of Marley & Me. Looks awful. Great for Benjamin Button, though. And I would say Valkyrie did better than I expected it to. Who didn't see The Spirit failing miserably?

I think The Spirit would've done better if...
1. Didn't have Samuel L Jackson playing Samuel L Jackson
2. Had a lead actor with a name, even if the name was something like "that guy from Lost"
3. Was rated R and had the entire female cast appear nude in various scenes
