Misunderstanding comedies

There are a lot of comedies with some misunderstanding jokes, but are there any more movies, besides Ruthless People, where most of the jokes revolve around misunderstandings? My mind is blank at the moment.

Everything in Burn After Reading is due to misunderstandings.

It seems that spy comedies use this premise a lot. A few more:

If Looks Could Kill
The Man With One Red Shoe

There was an episode of Three's Company that revolved around this premise.

While this doesn't necessarily meet up with what you're talking about, I'm constantly surprised at how many people don't get The Big Lebowski as a satire of film noir and essentially dismiss it as "dumb."

Who dismisses The Big Lebowski as dumb? Everyone I know thinks it's brilliant.
