Heads up if your a fan of the animated series as I am, then you probably enjoy the music. La La Land Records decided to finally put out a CD of some of the music. I've read some reviews and it's supposedly pretty damn great so mine's on the way. Hopefully they'll make more.

I'm enough of a fan (and enough of a geek) to want this, but it's hard to justify the cost right now. I saw this listed on Buy Soundtrax's website, and they said it was a limited production of just 3000. Those of you who can justify the cost should probably jump on this soon.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago. Just stumbled on it after a torrent search (ironically). I also emailed the company, and they got back to me very quickly: this is the first of hopefully many LEs. I can't wait!

I just ordered. I couldn't resist... I really love the music to this show. It is truly brilliant.

Plus, if it does go out of print as an expensive collector's item I could just sell it after copying it to my PC and then make my money back. So it will work out regardless of whether or not I keep it... but I'd guess I'll wind up saving the CD's rather than sell them.

Looks like they are down to fewer than 500 copies.

Mine should be coming shortly along with the Big Trouble in Little China soundtrack.

Sorry for the bump on this thread but if anyone is interested La La Land Records recently re-released this CD and also put a second volume out. I couldn't resist ordering both volumes as they're limited (volume one to 5,000 copies and volume two to 3,500). A bit pricey but I know I'll regret not getting them if I don't, the eBay prices for the original release were pretty ridiculous after it sold out.

So bumping this thread again to let interested fans know that La La Land Records is releasing Batman: The Animated Series Volume Three on CD October 7th. Limited to 3,000 units. I love the series and have the first two soundtracks so will definitely be adding this one to my collection.

Bump again to let fans know that La La Land Records is releasing a fourth volume of music from Batman: The Animated Series. It already went up for pre-order yesterday and should start shipping soon.
