Why do foreign countries always seem to get the cool packaging and covers?

I'll stick with my Immortal Edition.

He is the worst actor of all time and Highlander and all of the sequels are horrible. I don't get the love for the series or this talentless guy.

I always thought of him as the worst and wondered how he kept getting so many movies to do. He ruined THE SICILLIAN which I was hoping for WS release when I looked at this thread.

While I was already a bit too old for Highlander when it came out in 1986, I knew my twelve-year-old self would have loved it. I've steered clear of the sequels and only saw the original film twice so that probably helps too.

I agree, the first Highlander is a fun film, but the sequels/tv series are forgettable.

True. But scenes with Deborah Kara Unger almost made up for having to watch Mario Van Peeples in Highland III. Almost.

To hell with all the Lambert haters, he wasn't trying to be Peter O' Toole w/ his acting. The guy made some great B movies.

Forget these, I would love me some special editions of The Hunted or Mean Guns.

I already have about 60 versions of "Highlander" so I don't think I need another unless it's a Blu-ray, but I'm down for "The Road Killers" just to see a bad-ass Uncle Keith.

MOD NOTE: Please remember the rules about NO This is a thread for a discussion of the DVDs not whether or not you like the actor. If you want to have such a thread, start it in the Movie Forum.

Thx

Any word on THE SICILLIAN?
I've seen in full screen and looks like it would look great in Widescreen.
Anybody else liked that movie?

Re: Good News for Christopher Lambert fans outhere!!

If Highlander had any new features, I'd be all over it. I love the first movie and the series with a passion (though all the sequels and spinoffs are terrible). However, since their isn't anything new, I'll be content with The Immortal Edition.

Suprised LionsGate didnt mention Josh Brolin being in ROADKILLERS! Also the film was shot scope, so shame it will be full frame.
