I couldn't find the threads, however, I thought sometime ago I read that some people were seeing horizontal whites lines when they watched movies on thier HD-DVD players but the firmware updates took care of the problems. With my A-35, it seemed to start after I completed the first firmware update. Intially, I thought I was seeing things because I was mainly watching HD movies at night and my wife has a good amount of lights on however I watched a movie last night ( my wife was in another room so I had all the lights out) and the lines were much more apparent. My player has been updated with the lastest firmware but as mentioned it did not fix the problem, in fact it seems worse. Is anyone else having the same problem or had the same problem and how did you resolve the issue?
