Which actress is most represented in your DVD collection?

Discounting the mind-numbingly prolific Bess Flowers (762 IMDB credits and counting), mine would probably be Marilyn Monroe and Joan Crawford, with fifteen apiece. Which actress do you own the most films with?

God, I miss the days when I could just look this up in DVDSpot.

Anyway, you're asking two different questions. The actress most represented in my DVD collection is Molly Shannon, mostly because of all the Saturday Night Live DVDs I have with her in them. As far as who I own the most films with, probably Mink Stole.

Bess Flowers (762 IMDB credits and counting)
...and counting? Is she still making movies, 24 years after her death?

My thoughts exactly. I have no idea what the answer might be. I do know that I never attempt to get all the DVDs of a certain actress (or actor for that matter). It would probably be somebody I didn't expect.

No, but since most of her appearances are brief uncredited cameos in often obscure or forgotten films, her official credits are updated semi-regularly.

Julianne Moore - I've got 30+ movies with her.

Catherine Keener has to be number two with about 25 movies.

I think it's probably Maggie Cheung-also my favorite contemporary actress.

For me it would have to be Barbara Stanwyck.

Prior to six months ago I may have said Katharine Hepburn but after seeing Miss Stanwyck in the Furies, Double Indemnity, Sorry Wrong Number, and Lady Eve I went on a big kick watching her films. While I have seen around 20, I now own 12. Definitely underrated.

Salma Hayek leads my pack with 7.

Uschi Digard actually leads my pack with 8. But I'm not sure we're counting titles specifically based on ( o ) ( o )

For my (limited) collection, its a tie between Milla Jovovich and Emma Watson. With Winnona Ryder coming in 2nd

(sorry, only have about 230 DVD's. Not much can be said about that)

Off the top of my head I would guess Cate Blanchett (It appears I have 19 of her films). Also, I'm sure Lois Maxwell is probably in the top ten with the 15 movies of hers that I own.

I wish I could look this up on DVD Spot too. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say Miss Moneypenny, Lois Maxwell, due to all the Bond films I own. Second, probably Natalie Portman or Maggie Cheung. I have at least a dozen movies with them in it.

Upon further inspection, she is tied for first place in my collection. Garbo would be number one with a bullet if we could just get a second box set of her films released.
