eBay "Daily Deal" Sony BDP-S550 BluRay Player $229 Shipped

eBay's knock-off of Woot, this Daily Deal auction is marked to end at 8:04am Thursday morning, though likely the quantity available will deplete before then:

Edit: I pulled the trigger on this one - on checkout I saw there were 337 more still available.

Down forget 8% Live.com cashback. Also, check your email for a 20% (up to $100) offer from Paypal. Could make this a killer deal if you stack these up.

Live.com CB --
Go to live.com
Search for "wii" and then click on the gold coin on the eBay listing below. It should take you to eBay with a 8% Cashback banner.

That would have made it a fantastic deal, but no such offer in my email or on the PayPal website - just the $20 off $50 purchase at Walmart.com

I don't have that offer either, apparently.

Live.com is down to 8% on ebay? That sucks. It was 30% about a week ago.

All sold out in a few hours. That must be one happy seller.

I was tempted, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I know Ebay will be flooded with Samsung 1500's soon, and I feared not being able to sell mine if I bought this Sony...

just my luck. i did the amazon deal for the panasonic 35K + 4 unwanted movies a couple nights ago. then the very next day the samsung 1500 + 8 movies pops up (although briefly but i would've made it). now this deal comes along, which i would've been more than glad to get if the panasonic didn't already ship yesterday (there were 10+ left when i checked a few hours ago).

Don't fret - Panasonic has had the most consistent quality and support of any of the standalone manufacturers, so I think you made the right choice.

Along with 83000 positives. He has a 99.5 positive feedback percentage so seems alright in my book.
