Ditto. One less show on broadcast TV that I won't be watching anymore.

I thought the finale was disappointing.

My DVR decided not to record this, despite me making sure it was set yesterday. Hopefully I can still catch it online.

I can't believe more people didn't watch this or comment on it. I thought it was a good way to send the show off. Sometimes I feel it's so hard to have a series finale for any show and to be able to wrap everything up to please everyone.

I thought the finale was great. Classy way to end a classy series.

I LOVED this exchange between Denny and Alan at the end of the first hour:

"This would make a good TV series"

"On a new network..."

"Yeah, one that cares!"

Nice jab at ABC for cancelling the show.

I thought it was very weak episode.
I thought the Supreme Court thing was really stupid. Alan mocking all of them wasn't really necessary... like we don't know by now how they feel about our current admin. It's obvious that not much humbles the Great Alan Shore.
If they just concentrated on what the case was about instead of trying to throw OVERLY stupid humor into it, it would have come across better.
Then they chose to insult us with what seemed not having enough time to finish it, so they threw in this one line that ties all the loose ends up. Them finding out the results the way they did, stunk. If you sneezed, you missed it. We invested 5 yrs into this storyline and I think it deserved more than "You'll be getting a one line motto saying that you will be allowed to take the new drug". Good thing I have a DVR so I could rewind it.

Alan's confrontation w/ the Chinese wasn't very well done. The storyline itself was decent, but then they had to give us JS doing what Alan does best ONE MORE TIME and it fell flat because he wasn't very convincing.

The best part of the show was when Alan and Denny got married... that made the most sense.

Maybe it was because they aired it in one night.. maybe it would have come off better if they aired it over two weeks.

Certainly not the best series finale.

I was glad that there was a happy ending to all of it. Chang, Poole and Schmitt has a nice ring to it. The only thing I thought was missing from this send off was an appearance by Donny Crane. That would have been nice to have him there at Nimmo Bay.

it was funny that the justice and cheny were fishing too though

I was hoping the chinese would bring in someone from the Practice to be the new managing attorney

I was thinking the same thing...I thought for sure Dylan McDerrmott was going to make a cameo.

Sad to see the show go, but the absurdly funny and sweet finale did leave me with a grin on my face.

I liked the Chinese acquisition plotline (particularly with the 2 Chinese guys drinking and smoking out on the balcony) and the gay marriage idea. The Supreme Court stuff fell flat, although it wasn't as annoying as the last time.
