The Simpsons -- "The Burns and the Bees" -- 12/07/08

A few funny moments (loved the bees attacking the stadium..."Uncle Tom"), but as a whole kinda boring.
I did notice it seemed like one of the best looking episodes though, especially the xmas beginning.

I just got King of the Hill recirded. I'm in Pacific time zone and King of Hill was on at 8 and than again at 8:30...I'll have to record later tonight to see if it'll be delayed to 9 or 10
Otherwise...does anyone know where you can download Simpson episodes from? I've never missed an episode and don't really want to start tonight

Yeah, my Tivo recorded KotH at 8:30 thinking it was Simpsons. This is the first time in 5 years something like this has happened, so I'm not gonna complain - especially since there's Hulu.

I was kind of disappointed as I was hoping this would be a Christmas episode and their Christmas episodes are usually the strongest.
The Simpsons has been stale or bordering on stale for nearly a decade now. Still, it manages to be better than many shows on TV. Now I remember why I barely watch it and don't even record it.

I am in the minority, I loved this one. Had me laughing out loud quite a few times.

I was hoping that in the one year later sequence, we would see how much the billionaires were worth now.
I enjoyed the episode.
I liked Bart rearranging the bees on Lisa's face to make her look like Milhouse.
I also liked "drunk" Lisa demanding her keys back from Moe in the bar.

"I have ten words for snow, but none for this unusual occurrence."
"I kill whales for fun."
My favorite though was when the queen bee landed on Lisa and Homer got set to take care of it saying, as he pulled on some black leather gloves, "And this time, no screwups."

A spammer kept bumping old threads with brief comments so that he could have enough posts to post a link. It seems someone higher up caught on and he is now gone.
