DVD cataloging software that can import excel?

Hey everyone!

For years I've been doing my own cataloging of my movie collection in an excel spreadsheet. Just the basics - title, year, format, edition, genre, etc.
Only recently, having joined this forum, my eyes have been opened to the fact that there is a lot of great programs out there to do this, far more in depth, able to make different reports, etc.

Many people rave about DVD Profiler, but my one big problem is it can't import my existing catalog, even just the title field, and I have no interest in RE-entering hundreds and hundreds of titles one-by-one.

Are there any similar cataloging programs out there that CAN import data from excel?

DVD Profiler is overrated IMO. The chronic lack of import capability helps me avoid wasting time with it to see if it has improved....

I prefer Ant Movie Catalog : http://www.antp.be/software/moviecatalog

It does support importing. Not directly from an .xls file, but it has a very flexible .CSV import feature. So you could export to .CSV from Excel and then import to AMC.

There are plug-ins with DVD Profiler that will import from CSV (you can save your Excel document as a CSV file). Ask on their forums for more information.
