Panasonic plasma and discrete inputs
I'm contemplating getting a Panasonic TH-C46FD18 plasma television from Costco, but I've got to make sure the tv accepts discrete remote codes for Power On, Power Off, and the inputs. Panasonic has a link to some discrete codes on their website, but they don't say whether this model can accept those codes.
I've searched everywhere I can think of to search, to no avail. I've got a thread pending on Remotecentral, but I figured somebody here might know as well.
Any help would be appreciated.

All five of the Panasonic plasma models I've had to work with (mainly doing Harmony remote configuration) have featured discrete remote codes for specific inputs (i.e. HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3, COMPONENT1, COMPONENT2, PC, SVIDEO, etc.) I wouldn't even worry about it.

I had the day off, so I just went ahead and did that.
The discrete codes all worked perfectly, except the power on code.
It works, but you have to hammer the button several times in a row. I guess I could set up my old Pronto to send the signal multiple times in a row, but then I run into the issue of whether my MX-500 can learn that correctly.
