Chiller Channel

Cablevision in NJ just added the Chiller channel to it's cable lineup. Does anyone know if the movies they show are uncut like the horror HD channel? Or do they show the TV versions?

It looks like a pretty good channel with Twin Peaks, Friday the 13th The Series, and Tales From The Darkside episodes.

Thanks,
Bob

I'm pretty sure they are cut.

They've been rerunning Millennium, too. I watched the whole series.

cut with commercials..the channel pretty much sucks IMO.
Dish took away the excellent Monsters HD channel and left us with this one.

They also have a pretty poor selection of horror movies. I think all the good ones are already claimed by other cable channels.

Once digital kicks in officially, there will probably be a barrage of cheesy channels to choose from.

Most of their commericals are lenghty "scenes" from other A&E shows. Like Crossing Jordan. I never know what I'm watching when I flip over to that channel.

That being said though... it's in HD. And even though I own all the Twin Peaks DVDs I still catch myself watching them when I find them on the guide because they look so damn good.

Crap, you're right. I was thinking of Crime and Investigation HD, which also airs Twin Peaks.

I have no issues with this channel. They have been showing Friday the 13th the series and Freddy's nightmares (that Nightmare on Elm street show from the 80's)

If your happy with seeing broadcast versions of horror movies or re-runs of old horror anthology shows, then this channel is cool.
